Over 8 years experience in manufacturing as a Senior Programmer Analyst on the  AS/400. Some application areas are MRP, production tracking, barcoding, receiving, shop floor,  shipping, order billing, general ledger, PC link to host, cost systems, bill-of-materials, sales  management and compensation tracking, business plan implementation.

Over 13 years experience owning and operating a software house in a vertical market (education) on the IBM S/34, IBM S/36, and the AS/400. This included managing upto 25 employees and meeting the needs of over 100 installation sites involved in a wide range of computer application needs.  Applications are general ledger, financial audits, fund accounting, program budgeting, profit/loss reporting, inventory, balance sheets, warehousing, fixed assets, human resources, payroll, purchasing, payables, receivables, fund raising, alumni, registration, grading, scheduling, billing, archiving, permanent records, transcripts
